ACMA


 

The ACMA is an acronym for the Australian Communications and Media Authority.

Established in July of 2005, the ACMA is responsible for overseeing the regulation of radio communications, broadcasting, telecommunications and the Internet.

The ACMA is tasked with ensuring consumers that the various forms of communications work for all by setting regulations, establishing uniform standards and representing Australia’s broadcasting and media interests throughout the international community.
