Champions Trophy Preview
Hope is well and truly over Australia after their success in the 2015 Cricket World Cup, which included a victory over their nemesis the New Zealand Black Caps in the Final. Australia are hard fit after a recent India series where they showed flashes of brilliance throughout, and will be looking for their third Champions Trophy title after not making the Semi-finals four years ago.
It should also be noted that host nations do not have much success in the Champions Trophy, so that does not bode well for England. South Africa will enter the number one ranked side in ODI Cricket, with Australia and India also expected to do quite well. The Australian public love their Cricket, so there’s much pressure on the team to advance far and share in the excitement generated by having the Champions Trophy across the pond.
